Our People

HDT has a small but committed team consisting of: an Advisor and Consultant Team Manager, Julie and 4 core members of staff; Tony, Suzanne, Alison and Sharon.  Here they all are:

  • Julie Thompson

    Julie Thompson

    Advisor and Consultant Manager

    Julie Thompson is an Advisor and Consultant team manager to HDT. She worked for 25 years in the public sector in Warrington and Bolton developing and managing Children's Services, spending 10 years as Assistant Director. Julie likes skiing and spending time with her family.

  • Tony Prescott

    Projects and Operations Manager

    Tony Prescott is our Projects and Operations Manager. He has vast experience of the Telecommunications sector. Eager to give something back, Tony is currently involved in a project to look at improving the Community Hall in Hollins Green. He is also a keen sportsman, having played both football and rugby for local teams, and is a big Manchester City supporter.

  • Suzanne Hindle

    Arts and Heritage Co-ordinator

    Suzanne Hindle has a wealth of community development experience working in the statutory and voluntary sector across the North West. She also comes to us as a qualified regional tour guide and is at her happiest sharing her passion for local history with others; whether that’s on a heritage railway platform, rambling across fields or inside historic buildings. Spare time is spent volunteer gardening on her local park, enjoying family time and learning how to play crown green bowls.

  • Alison Blackwell

    Finance Officer

    Alison Blackwell is HDT’s Finance Officer. She is secretary her golf club and enjoys volunteering for a number of local community groups. When she’s not in work, Alison can usually be found on the golf course, but most of all loves spending time with her family.

  • Sharon Piggin

    Admin Assistant

    Sharon Piggin is our Admin Assistant. She previously worked at Rixton-with-Glazebrook Pre-school and is an active member of the Rixton-with-Glazebrook Community Plan Group. Sharon was instrumental in steering the ‘Shine the Light’ project through to completion, to gently up-light Hollinfare War Memorial. Sharon is a keen baker, knitter and tap dancer and enjoys walking, exercise, watching films and gardening.
