Our People

HDT has a small but committed team consisting of 9 core members of staff: Mandy, Dawn, Tony, Alison, Mandy, Sharon, Dave, Karla, Rachelle and Julie. Here they are:

  • Mandy Coleman

    Consultant General Manager

    Mandy Coleman is the Consultant General Manager at HDT. She has previously worked in senior finance positions for a number of companies of varying sizes and sectors. Mandy is a keen gym goer, loves to travel and ride horses and often combines the two. She has a reputation for baking a mean pear and almond cake!

  • Dawn Kehoe

    Marketing Manager

    Dawn Kehoe is our Marketing Manager at HDT. She has a range of marketing experience across the public and private sectors both agency and client side. Dawn loves playing all sports with the main one being Football / Futsal. She is also a keen gym goer, which helps to counteract her love for chocolate!

  • Tony Prescott

    Operations Manager

    Tony Prescott is our Operations Manager and joins HDT with vast experience from the Telecommunications sector. Eager to give something back, Tony is currently involved in a project to look at improving the Community hall in Hollins Green. He is also a keen sportsman having played both football and rugby for local teams and is a big Manchester City supporter.

  • Mandy Eccles

    Marketing Assistant

    Mandy Eccles is a Marketing Assistant for HDT. She used to work in the voluntary sector as Pre-school Supervisor. Since 2010 she has been Chair of the Friends of Hollinfare Cemetery and is also a committee member of the Rixton-with-Glazebrook Parish Plan Group. Mandy loves to spend time with family and friends and enjoys walking, gardening and dancing.

  • Alison Blackwell

    Finance Assistant

    Alison Blackwell is HDT’s Finance Assistant. She is secretary of the Rixton-with-Glazebrook pre-school and her golf club and enjoys volunteering for a number of community groups. When she’s not in work, Alison can usually be found on the golf course, but most of all loves spending time with her family.

  • David Taylor

    David Taylor

    Operations Assistant

    David Taylor is the Operations Assistant at Hamilton Davies Trust. Previously David ran the family electrical business in Irlam for over 30 years. His interests include travel, wildlife and wildlife photography. David also enjoys voluntary work and is currently the Treasurer for the Rotary Club of Irlam.

  • Sharon Piggin

    Admin Assistant

    Sharon Piggin is our Admin Assistant. She previously worked at Rixton-with-Glazebrook Pre-school and is an active member of several local voluntary groups. Sharon is the note taker for the ‘Look of the Parish Group’ and is on the Implementation Group of Rixton-with-Glazebrook Parish Plan and is also the chair of ‘Shine the Light’ - a project to gently up-light Hollinfare War Memorial. Sharon is a keen baker, knitter and tap dancer. She also enjoys walking, exercise, watching films and TV, gardening and decorating.

  • Karla Threlfall

    Marketing Assistant

    Karla Threfall is a Marketing Assistant – bringing young and fresh ideas to the team. The apprenticeship will provide Karla with first hand marketing experience, on the job training and a Level 3 City & Guilds Certificate in Social Media for Business through the Juice Academy. Karla has previously achieved bronze in the Duke of Edinburgh award and has volunteered at a local brownie group. An avid football fan – Karla is a season ticket holder at Manchester City and is keen to travel and see the world!

  • Julie Thompson

    Julie Thompson

    Regeneration Advisor

    Julie Thompson is an Advisor to HDT. She worked for 25 years in the public sector in Warrington and Bolton developing and managing Children's Services spending 10 years as Assistant Director. Julie likes skiing and spending time with her family.

  • Rachelle Cleary

    Artist

    Rachelle Cleary is a talented local artist who delivers our I C Art programme in Irlam and Cadishead. As well as her unique artistry, Rachelle brings great enthusiasm, research skills, knowledge of the area and a love of history to her work. When not covered in paint Rachelle loves to get out and about on her motorbike or walk her dog Jess, who features in all her major artworks.
