Kicking off the festivities!
We recently hosted our third Community Christmas Service, bringing together local people for some festive entertainment.
On the 4th December at Irlam and Cadishead College, 250 guests enjoyed an exciting and fun programme including superb performances from: Irlam Primary School, St Teresa’s RC Primary School, Irlam and Cadishead College (ICC), the Evergreens and Cadishead Band.
Our chairman Neil McArthur and Toni Holdsworth from ICC welcomed guests and later participated in carol-singing, as well as listening to readings from Craig Thomas (ICC teacher), John Shiels (Manchester United Foundation CEO) and a poem by Alistair Harris-Wilson who won our HDT poetry competition.

Our festivities don’t stop there! On Monday 17th December you can catch us at Irlam Station, warming up the early morning commuters with a hot chocolate followed by the ‘Elves on Tour’ on Tuesday 18th December, when we will be touring Liverpool Road with Father Christmas, so keep your eyes peeled!
We are also hosting a Christmas Coffee Morning at Hamilton Davies House on Wednesday 19th December 2018 and we’d love to see you there! From 10am-12pm, you can come for 10 minutes or stay an hour. Free tea, coffee, cakes and lots of festive cheer will be on offer, so make sure to pop on in and say hello!
