Irlam FC New Clubhouse
After over a year of planning, development and construction, Irlam FC’s new clubhouse has finally opened its doors to the public.
The official launch, held on 21st July saw our very own Neil McArthur cut the ribbon, along with Warren Dodd (Irlam FC Club Secretary) and Ron Parker (Irlam FC Chairman).
Representing one of our largest grants during the 2014/15 financial year, we were happy to club together with the Football Foundation to support the project, providing a £85,600 contribution.
The new clubhouse replaces their old building which was demolished after being deemed unfit for purpose and comes complete with modern changing rooms, social area and bar.
To complete the clubhouse facility, the car park was resurfaced with funding from Viridor and a contribution of £5119.90 from us.
This great new facility will become an asset to the club supporting its numerous teams and the raft of
supporters who attend games each week, as well as a great resource for the wider community.
