Cadishead Bridge
Repainted it in the famous Cheshire Lines green, embankments landscaped and replanted, the bridge is no longer in a state of disrepair.
You may remember British Tar transporting goods across Cadishead Bridge as late as the 1990s. Since then the bridge, which was originally built to carry the Cheshire Lines Manchester to Liverpool railway line across Liverpool Road to transport coal to Liverpool Dock, has been redundant.
We saw it was in a state of disrepair and rejuvenated its appearance by repainting it in the famous Cheshire Lines green. While we were there, we landscaped the surrounding embankments and funded the clearance and re-planting of the adjacent sites.
HDT continue to support the maintenance of this iconic structure to preserve its posterity in the area.
