Annual Report 2021-22

The HDT Team have enjoyed another year of supporting the local communities of Irlam, Cadishead and Rixton-with-Glazebrook. Our latest Annual Report, covering April 2021 – April 2022, showcases another successful year and includes examples of the range of community activities we are involved in.

HDT’s Chair Neil McArthur said:

“It is a pleasure to introduce this report, which is a testament to a year well spent supporting the community. Given our small team, I am always surprised at how much is achieved each year, and this one is no exception. Our success is not measured on how much financial support we give as a grant-giving charity, £551,471 investment made this year alone, but just as importantly in the commitment of staff time given to supporting community groups, schools, clubs, and facilities.”

Our areas of focus cover many different aspects within our four workstreams, Community, Regeneration, Education and  Recreation, bringing the team into contact with people of all ages. Working with partners, volunteers and businesses is still key in helping us deliver even more to the community and we truly value the added skills and experience their support brings and are proud of how much we manage to achieve together.
