Vote for Jess Kemp!

Gifted singer-songwriter Jess Kemp has won a prestigious nomination for the Best Unsigned Female Act at the Best of British Unsigned Music Awards 2016.

The awards are UK wide and have several categories – Jess is the only female artist from Manchester in her category.

A delighted Jess said: “The next step for me now is to push as much as I can to gain votes and try and win my category. There are 10 nominees for this category and it is down to each individual act to spread the word and gain as many votes as possible to be in with the chance to go down to London for the ceremony.” 

Jess, aged 21, is a talented acoustic artist from Irlam who recently completed her first European tour, thanks to support from HDT.

A string of impressive performances in Amsterdam helped to raise Jess’ profile after she reached out to HDT to assist with her mission of promoting her music to a wider audience.

Jess continued: “I can’t begin to thank HDT enough for the sponsorship they have provided. Without that help, I wouldn’t have been able to do the tour and engage with so many amazing people. I feel it’s really pushed on my career and I am already thinking about what’s next.”
